The United States men’s national team head to Nashville tonight for their second match of World Cup qualifying against Canada. Gregg Berhalter’s side is in need of an improved performance to get three points on the board early in their qualifying efforts.

A scoreless draw away to El Salvador to start the 8-team final round wasn't exactly ideal but wasn’t completely detrimental either. Despite the uninspiring start to the campaign, a win in their first home match against strong opposition would ease a lot of tension and concerns.

The main task for Berhalter has to be figuring out how to get the attack going. It was a struggle to create clear chances against El Salvador. Perhaps the potential return of Christian Pulisic will help boost the offensive efforts.
