The United States Men’s National Team finally took care of business on Thursday night as they defeated Trinidad & Tobago 3-0 in the first leg of the Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals. The USMNT were scoreless through about 80 minutes before unleashing a barrage of 3 goals over 8 minutes to take a shaky match into more comfortable territory.
Antonee Robinson scored the 2nd goal of the night, an absolute banger that was capped by a sensational back flip celebration. He also assisted on the USMNT’s first goal, setting up Ricardo Pepi for the finish. For that, his 7.77 average rating was good enough to win SSFC Man of the Match honors from the readers.
