Copa América 2024 takes flight next summer, and yesterday CONMEBOL released the full tournament schedule, including the host venues. The United States Men’s National Team learned the sites they would play in as they welcome the Americas to our shores for the 48th edition of South America’s continental championship.

The USMNT learned its path throughout the tournament, and it begins on June 23rd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. They will then travel to play Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on June 27th. They complete the group stage with a match at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on July 1st. The USMNT will learn its group stage opponents at the Copa América draw on Thursday, where they know they will be drawn into Group C.

CONMEBOL had already announced that the opening match would be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on June 20th, with Hard Rock Stadium in Miami hosting the Copa América Final on July 14th. In total, 13 cities will host matches at 14 stadiums during the tournament:

  • Dallas-Fort Worth (AT&T Stadium)
  • Las Vegas (Allegiant Stadium)
  • Charlotte (Bank of America Stadium)
  • Kansas City (Arrowhead Stadium, Children’s Mercy Park)
  • Austin (Q2 Stadium)
  • Orlando (Exploria Stadium)
  • Miami (Hard Rock Stadium)
  • Santa Clara (Levi’s Stadium)
  • Atlanta (Mercedes-Benz Stadium)
  • East Rutherford (MetLife Stadium)
  • Houston (NRG Stadium)
  • LA (SoFi Stadium)
  • Phoenix (State Farm Stadium)

Three Major League Soccer stadiums - Q2 Stadium, Children’s Mercy Park, and Exploria Stadium, made the cut along with 11 NFL stadiums to serve as host venues.

Should the USMNT win Group C, they would play the Group D runner-up at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on July 6th. If they finish 2nd in Group C, they would take on the Group D winner (which could be Brazil) on the same date at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix. Should they win either quarterfinal, they would play in the semifinal at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on July 10th. Charlotte will also host the 3rd place match on July 13th, with the final being in Miami the following day.

“We will experience an unforgettable Copa America, enjoying the best football in the world in 14 magnificent stadiums. The passion of football will run through this great country from east to west and from north to south, bringing excitement and fun to hundreds of thousands of fans at the venues and millions of spectators around the world,” CONMEBOL president Alejandro Dominguez said in a statement.
