The 2024 Copa América Draw happens tonight, and fans will learn who will face each other in South America’s tournament that will be held next summer in the United States. The United States Men’s National Team will learn who will join them in the group stage of the tournament as 18 teams, including 4 teams that still have a chance to qualify via the Copa América playoff in March, learn which group and cities they will visit.

The 4 seeded teams will be Argentina (reigning Copa América champions), Mexico (reigning Gold Cup champions), the USMNT (hosts and highest ranked Concacaf team from the October 2023 FIFA rankings), and Brazil (next-highest ranked CONMEBOL team). CONMEBOL pre-determined where the seeded teams would play, so Argentina was seeded into Group A and will play in the opening match on June 20th in Atlanta. Mexico was seeded into Group B, the USMNT in Group C, and Brazil will head Group D.

After Pot 1, which has the 4 seeded teams, is selected, the rest of the draw will commence, as teams were slotted into 4 pots and will be drawn into the 4 groups. It will be an evening of suspense as the field learns who it will play in one of the biggest tournaments in the world.
