USA vs. Cuba, 2013 Gold Cup: Lineups and match thread

The U.S. is back in action against Cuba, this time with Stu Holden.

S-T-U. Stu Stu Stu!

Stuart Holden is back in the starting line for the United States, the first time he's starting for his country since October 9, 2010. He'll start in the midfield alongside Kyle Beckerman, who leads a trio of Real Salt Lake players getting a start in their home stadium.

A hat trick wasn't enough to earn Chris Wondolowski another start, but with seven matches in 24 days, Jurgen Klinsmann has no choice but to regularly rotate the squad. That's what we are seeing today and will see all Gold Cup long.

Nobody has defected so Cuba has their full compliment of players available to them. It is not the best team Cuba has had, though, and we saw in their first game that they are a very flawed team so the Americans should be heavy favorites.

United States: Nick Rimando, Tony Beltran, Michael Orozco, Oguchi Onyewu, Edgar Castillo, Joe Corona, Kyle Beckerman, Stuart Holden, Brek Shea, Landon Donovan, Herculez Gomez.

Cuba: Odelin Molina, Jorge Clavelo, Aliannis Urgellés, Michel Márquez, Yoel Colomé, Renay Malblanche, Jorge Corrales, Jaime Colomé, Ariel Martínez, Alberto Gómez, Jose Alfonso
