USMNT vs. Honduras, 2015 Gold Cup: Time, TV schedule, streaming and more

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

The United States kicks off their 2015 Gold Cup tonight in Frisco, TX, where they will take on Honduras in their first group stage match. The Americans are probably favorites to win the tournament now that Mexico have suffered multiple injuries and Costa Rica aren't quite clicking, but they have a tough group with Panama also in the fold so they'll be tested early.

If the U.S. can win the Gold Cup, they'll automatically qualify for the 2017 Confederations Cup. If they don't, they'll have to win a playoff against the tournament champion for a spot in the Confed Cup.

The entire Gold Cup will be televised by the Fox networks, beginning with today's action on Fox Sports 1. John Strong is the lead broadcaster for the tournament and will call all of the Americans' matches. Tonight he will be joined by Brad Friedel in the booth, while Rob Stone will host a 30-minute pre-game show.

In addition to Fox Sports 1's coverage, UniMas will handle the Spanish-language broadcast and Fox Sports Go will provide the online stream.

Match date/time: Tuesday, July 7; 9:30 p.m. ET

Venue: Toyota Stadium, Frisco, TX

TV: Fox Sports 1 (English), UniMas (Spanish)

Streaming: Fox Sports Go
