USMNT vs. Honduras, 2015 Gold Cup: Lineups and match thread

The United States is ready to get their Gold Cup underway. Haiti managed a surprise draw against Panama in the Group A opener so the group is the Americans' to lose now. A win tonight and they have a giant edge in topping the group, not that they expected to really be in danger of finishing second anyway.

Jurgen Klinsmann is going with a someone expected team playing with a diamond midfield. The only mild surprise is Ventura Alvarado starting with John Brooks in the center. Some thought Omar Gonzalez would get the nod, but Klinsmann has been very complimentary of Alvarado and appears to rate him very highly.
