Group C of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup opens its second match day at BBVA Stadium in Houston, Texas. The matches are sold out, according to the stadium’s official Twitter account. The group began with El Salvador defeating Curaçao, 1-0, and Jamaica downing Honduras, 3-2.

El Salvador takes on Jamaica in the first match, with a win for either team likely clinching a spot in the knockout stage. The Reggae Boyz will look to Dever Orgill (Ankaragücü) to continue his scoring ways, having netted a brace in the opener. La Selecta has been on a hot streak since November, having only lost one of their last seven matches.

Honduras takes on Curaçao in a must win fixture for both teams. Los Catrachos look to be the favorite, having scored two goals in their first match and featuring a strong attacking group that includes Anthony Lozano (Girona), Romell Quioto (Houston Dynamo), and Alberth Elis (Houston Dynamo). Curaçao needs a massive performance from ADO Den Haag winger Elson Hooi, who was a key presence in their Nations League qualifying campaign.
