The United States Men’s National Team are in the Gold Cup quarterfinals, where they will face Jamaica on Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. One of the questions the USMNT has entering that match will be who they decide to keep in camp to replace Walker Zimmerman, who had to leave the team due to a hamstring injury.
Cade Cowell and Henry Kessler were called into camp with the USMNT in Texas, as Concacaf has allowed teams to bring in medical replacements prior to the quarterfinals, but it can only be one person that head coach Gregg Berhalter files with Concacaf as a medical replacement for Zimmerman no later than 24 hours before Sunday’s match.
So, if you were the coach, which one player would you call into the 23-man Gold Cup roster from the provisional roster as a medical replacement? Hit the comments and let us know who you’re bringing in to provide cover or depth as the USMNT continue their fight for a Gold Cup title
