MLS is the United States' league*. It's where many of the country's best players play, it's where many of the national teamers develop and it's the league most responsible for the growth of the national team.
* Canada too, but they have to make a Hex before we care.
Today, the MLS All-Stars take on Bayern Munich in an exhibition. It doesn't matter and it doesn't count for anything, but it's a chance to watch a bunch of U.S. players like Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley, DeAndre Yedlin, Graham Zusi, Matt Besler, Nick Rimando and more. Meanwhile, Julian Green is on the Bayern side.
So we have reasons to be interested. Maybe it will even be fun.
The match is on ESPN2, so tune in and watch the MLS All-Star Game from Portland and chat along. What do you see, what do you like, what's cool and dun. Just remember, if you try to pretend this matters, you will be deported to Canada.
