The Concacaf Champions League semifinals are set, and after Major League Soccer sent 5 teams to the quarterfinals, only one is left to carry the flag to the next round. The Philadelphia Union are MLS’s only hope to win the CCL after they took care of business against Atlanta United.

The Union happened to be the only MLS team that didn’t have to play a team from Liga MX, as the Columbus Crew, Portland Timbers, and Toronto FC each succumbed to Monterrey, Club América, and Cruz Azul, respectively. Now, like several years past in this current format of the Concacaf Champions League, 3 Liga MX teams try to once again continue the league’s dominance in this competition.

When there’s one team left in the competition, MLS likes to encourage fans to throw their support behind that team, just like the Southeastern Conference in football likes to do the same when one of its teams is in the College Football Playoff national championship. Of course, fans of teams that happen to be rival of the last team standing may not see it that way, opting to root for the opponent regardless of league. And, there’s the people who check out when their team is eliminated from the competition.

So, this week’s Community Corner asks you: you showing some MLS pride and supporting the Philadelphia Union the rest of the way in the Concacaf Champions League?
