On the eve of joining the United States men's national team for pre-Copa America training camp, Portland Timbers midfielder, Darlington Nagbe, is enjoying some fine form. After playing a well-rounded match against his club's rivals, the Vancouver Whitecaps, Nagbe capped the match off (pun maybe intended) with a glorious free kick goal.

With the club's regular set piece specialist, Diego Valeri, nursing an injury, Nagbe stepped up and hit a curler over Vancouver's wall and into the back of the net for his first goal of the MLS season.
What a nice way to celebrate being named to the USA's final 23-man Copa America roster. He'll now join Jurgen Klinsmann's camp in hopes that he'll play a big part for the national team during this summer's crazy schedule. If he can replicate his club form with the USMNT, there's no reason to think he can't be a very important player for the Yanks this summer.
