Happy America Day, Americaland! The United States lineup is out for their crucial World Cup qualifier against Guatemala, and there's only one change. Michael Parkhurst has been brought into the team for Clarence Goodson. He'll play left back, while Carlos Bocanegra will move back inside to central defense.
Since I said one change, that means that Eddie Johnson is once again listed as a left midfielder. Since U.S. Soccer's formation was accurate on Friday, I'm sticking with what they've given us for this starting lineup.
United States starting lineup (4-4-2): Tim Howard; Michael Parkhurst, Carlos Bocanegra, Geoff Cameron, Steve Cherundolo; Eddie Johnson, Michael Bradley, Danny Williams, Graham Zusi; Clint Dempsey, Herculez Gomez
Guatemala starting lineup: Ricardo Jerez; Ruben Morales, Elias Vasquez, Erwin Morales, Jonathan Lopes, Wilfred Velasquez, Mario Rodriguez, Jose Contreras, Manuel Leon, Carlos Figueroa, Carlos Ruiz
Kickoff is at 7:15 p.m. ET from LlVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City. You can catch the game on ESPN2 or Telefutura. It's also streaming online on Watch ESPN if you have a provider that gives you access to that service. Chat away, friends.
