Julian Green part of Bayern Munich team for MLS All-Star Game, US tour

Americans will get a chance to see the budding USMNT star.

It has now been confirmed that budding United States star Julian Green will join Bayern Munich on their U.S. tour this summer. Among the games Green will be expected to feature in are a friendly against Chivas de Guadalajara at Red Bull Arena on July 31 and the MLS All-Star Game at Portland's Providence Park on Aug. 6.

This will be the first chance that most American fans will have to see potentially see Green for an extended period. Up until now, Green's exposure to American audiences has been limited to his substitute appearance against Belgium in the World Cup and a handful of minutes he played in friendlies.

What we've seen, though, has been enough to whet the appetite for more. Green scored a rather spectacular goal against Belgium and has an impressive record while with the Bayern Munich reserves.

The chances of Green doing enough in preseason to earn significant minutes with the first team seem distant, but that he's even getting this serious of a look bodes well for his future.
