Geoff Cameron wants out of Stoke City and multiple clubs are hoping to sign him, according to Pro Soccer Talk. Lazio are the biggest club PST links to the American, with Sunderland, Hull, Leicester and Southampton also named. They do not indicate any Bundesliga interest, which is different than any other report on Cameron's future.
Lazio would be an interesting fit for Cameron, with the Rome club having finished ninth last season in large part to a terrible defense. They'll be hoping to improve at the back this season and Cameron could help them with that.
Of course, with any move to Lazio, there are concerns about the club's culture. They are notoriously hateful, and their supporters have a history of racism and anti-Semitism, as well as hooliganism.
The Premier League clubs looking at Cameron are all expected to be in the bottom half of the table this season, so they're not much of an upgrade over Stoke. The difference is that he will presumably get the chance to play centrally at those clubs, which will not be the case with the Potters, if he plays at all with Stoke.
Previous reports had upwards of five Bundesliga clubs showing interest in Cameron, with Schalke the biggest.
