The United States named their U-18 roster for the International Tournament of Vaclav Jezek in the Czech Republic. The 20-man roster features 19 domestic-based players, all of whom have played in the Development Academy before, to go along with one player from Tottenham Hotspur.
Cameron Carter-Vickers is the Spurs player, born and raised in England, but has American citizenship, presumably through a parent. He is one of the top prospects in the Spurs academy as a big, strong defender who is good with the ball at his feet. He has been a regular member of the U-21 team and even captained the team at a tournament in France despite being just 16 years old.
Sebastian Saucedo is one of the more highly touted players on the U-18 team and he recently signed a homegrown contract with Real Salt Lake. He is one of two RSL products on the team, to go along with the LA Galaxy, who have Malcolm Jones and Jorgie Ruiz. Haji Wright is the youngest player on the team, the only born in 1998, and he is unattached, although he has been training with the Galaxy academy. The Chicago Fire provide the most players on the team with three.
