USA U-17's can beat Mexico 2-0 too

Dos a cero.

The United States senior team has made a habit of beating Mexico, 2-0, and now the U-17's are doing it too. They beat El Tri on Sunday in the group stage of Copa Mexico de Naciones, and clinched a spot in the knockout stages in the process.

Admittedly, this was Mexico's B team. They had to field a second team in the tournament after Argentina pulled out following the death of federation president Julio Grondona, and the U.S. beat them handily.

Christian Pulisic scored the opening goal, which wasn't much of a surprise considering he scored a hat trick against China in the first match of the tournament. Haji Wright, who also scored a hat trick in the opener, assisted on the goal. McKinzie Gaines added the second goal and the U.S. rout was on.

The knockout stages of the tournament begin on Wednesday. In the meantime, dos a cero again.
