Geoff Cameron will miss another match with an ankle injury and there is no timetable for his return. Stoke manager Mark Hughes confirmed that the United States international will be unavailable for this weekend's match and that they weren't sure the extent of the injury.
"He's still got an issue with problems just above the ankle and it isn't progressing too quickly," said Hughes.
"So we will have to probably investigate that further, so he's still unavailable."
Cameron hasn't played since hurting his ankle during a match on January 5. He had to exit that contest at halftime and has been sidelined for more than two weeks now, with another week coming.
Hopefully Cameron only misses another week, but it is concerning that they don't seem to have a handle on the injury yet.
This has been a tough year for Cameron, in part due to injuries. He suffered a thigh injury in October, then a hamstring injury in December. Neither proved to be especially serious, but both kept him out for a couple weeks. Now add ankle to that list.
