USMNT and Hertha Berlin defender John Brooks has earned a place in EA Sports’ Team of the Week. For any FIFA 17 Ultimate Team players out there, you’ll know this is a big deal. For any who’s not, it means that Brooks has been considered one of the best players in the entire world for the past week.
He’ll be receiving a special upgraded in-form card in Ultimate Team for the next week that will be available in packs. His normal base card in FIFA 17 is 79, his in-form card has been upgraded to 82.

He joins the likes of Paulo Dybala, Chicharito Hernandez, and Isco in this week’s Team of the Week. He earned the honor for his great performance against Bayern Munich in a 1-1 draw against the Bundesliga champs.
After a worrying performance the week before, Brooks responded with a great outing against the best team in the league. That’s an encouraging sign with World Cup qualifying coming up soon.
