Another weekend of soccer goodness is here. This is the last weekend for purely European and Mexican based Yanks to have the TV airwaves to themselves as MLS returns next weekend. There are a few interesting match-ups to watch this weekend with Bobby Wood possibly playing against Bayern Munich. His manager says he’s “55/45” to recover from a thigh strain. There’s also the chance that Geoff Cameron makes a return to Stoke City’s lineup on Sunday morning after being out for months.
There’s only a month remaining until the USMNT resume World Cup qualifying. Keep an eye on injuries now as they could possibly affect players’ availability for those two important qualifiers coming up in late March.
