This past weekend saw American players playing outside of MLS appear one more time for their club before the FIFA international window begins. Some players were called up to the USMNT for upcoming World Cup qualifying and have already made the trip to the United States for the upcoming two matches. Before those matches happen, let’s take a look at how they fared over the weekend:
Bobby Wood
We start off with Bobby Wood, who smashed home his first goal of the season for Hamburger SV. Not that it was anything special, but it’s good to see him get on the board and hopefully he’ll continue the trend for Hamburg.
Right place, right time! @BobbyS_Wood buries his first goal of the season.

Ethan Horvath
The 22-year-old keeper recorded a shutout for Club Brugge in a 4-0 win over Standard Liege in Belgium.

Geoff Cameron

Alfredo Morales
Alfredo Morales went the distance for Ingolstadt down in the 2. Bundesliga in a 1-0 win over Greuther Fuerth.
