Geoff Cameron scored his first goal for Queens Park Rangers today in a 1-1 draw against Derby County. Frank Lampard’s Derby side opened the scoring in the 24th minute, but Cameron answered back early in the second half with the game-tying goal in the 48th minute.
Cameron’s scrappy finish came after a QPR free-kick from just outside the eighteen was parried away by goalkeeper Scott Carson.
Carson pushed the ball to right side of the box, where it found forward Nahki Wells. Wells sent a low driven cross, through traffic, to Cameron who easily slotted home from about 8 yards out.
