American winger Jann George had one of the best goals you will see in a while, scoring today in first half stoppage time for Jahn Regensburg against Union Berlin in the 2. Bundesliga. With his team losing 1-0, George cut in from far left edge of the box and hit a curling right-footed strike that left the goalkeeper with no chance. The goal was George’s 4th goal in 12 league matches this season.
In the 2.Bundesliga today, German-American Jann George (1 U.S U-23 callup in 2011) with an absolutely ridiculous goalazzo today for Jahn Regensburg. His 4th goal of the year. Watch this pic.twitter.com/4Tk0mkqBd1

The match finished 1-1, despite Union playing the last thirteen minutes down a man due to a red card. With the draw, Jahn Regensburg is in 9th place in the 2. Bundesliga, sitting 5 points behind leaders FC St. Pauli.
George is eligible to play for either the United States or Germany and has previously stated his desire to represent the USMNT. He has yet to appear for Germany at any level, but last received a U.S. U-23 call up in 2011.
What’d you think of the goal? Should Jann George be someone to be considered for the USMNT?
