Yanks Abroad: Assists from Josh Sargent, Duane Holmes, & Christian Cappis

We have plenty of good news from over the weekend to get to this week. It was a sight for sore eyes for United States Men’s National Team fans as DeAndre Yedlin returned the pitch for the first time this season. Zack Steffen continues to impress in the Bundesliga after saving a PK this weekend, plus three players registered assists as well.

Josh Sargent

The 19-year-old picked up his first assist of the season as Werder Bremen drew 2-2 at Borussia Dortmund. The assist came off a corner kick in which Sargent won the initial header, sending it across the face of the goal for Marco Freidl to put home. HIGHLIGHTS | YOUTH UPDATE
