It was another week with some wonderful performances and a couple bangers from our Yanks Abroad. Nicholas Gioacchini scored his fourth goal of the Ligue 2 season as Caen beat Dunkerque 3-2. The win puts them in 7th place, two points behind promotion qualification. The goal is nice, but over his 82 minutes he also lost 13 duels. GOAL
Tobin Heath picked up a brace in Manchester United’s 6-1 win. The first goal was a brilliant one-touch effort from outside the box, and then she nutmegged a defender inside the box for her second goal. It was her first time on the scoresheet for the Lady Red Devils in over a month.

Joel Soñora came off the bench and assisted the equalizer in Talleres’ 1-1 draw vs Atlético Tucuman. It was a perfect cross, but you may be more impressed at the length of his shorts. VIDEO
Haji Wright was sent off with his second yellow card in stoppage time of the first half of SonderjyskE’s 1-0 loss vs Randers FC. Those two yellows were among eight yellows shown to the Yanks over the weekend.
DeAndre Yedlin got his first start since July 15th in Newcastle United’s 1-1 draw vs Fulham. He picked up some garbage time minutes the week before, but it is great to see him get some action again finally for Newcastle.
We also got to see the first Premier League start for 19-year-old Owen Otasowie, who played 60 minutes for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2-1 loss at Burnley.
