Christian Pulisic didn’t take long to make an impact in Chelsea’s match against Aston Villa this morning. After entering as a substitute in the 55th minute, Pulisic was able to roof a cross home from close range to make it 1-1 in the 60th minute.

On buildup that led to Cesar Azpilicueta having the ball on the right side, Azpilicueta sent a low cross across the face of goal. Pulisic, running in towards the far post, saw the ball cross in front of a couple of players to him, and he was able to put a foot on it to send it high into the roof of the net.
It’s Pulisic’s 6th goal in the Premier League this season, with this appearance being his first for the Blues since January 1st. He had missed the previous 8 games for Chelsea with a leg injury. The 21-year-old winger for Chelsea and the United States will hopefully see himself back into the starting XI as Chelsea progress through the restart of the Premier League with 8 matches left after today.
An Olivier Giroud goal 2 minutes later made it 2-1 Chelsea. It’s currently in the second half on NBCSN.
