We know the United States Men’s National Team has a roster for the upcoming World Cup qualifying window. After that window, 12 USMNT players will begin their quest to hoist the UEFA Champions League trophy.
Today, the Champions League draw took place, and the 12 USMNT players who are on clubs that will be in the group stage learned their fate of who they will face. The 12 Americans that are currently on Champions League clubs:
Brenden Aaronson - Red Bull Salzburg ( they compete in the Champions League as FC Salzburg due to ownership restrictions)
Tyler Adams - RB Leipzig
John Brooks - Wolfsburg
Sergiño Dest - FC Barcelona
Jordan Pefok - Young Boys
Christian Pulisic - Chelsea FC
Gio Reyna - Borussia Dortmund
Chris Richards - Bayern Munich
Weston McKennie - Juventus
Zack Steffen - Manchester City

It’s rare to have players on so many clubs, but it makes it fun for fans of the USMNT to be able to have some rooting interests spread out among the 32 teams. This draw allowed for the potential for American vs. American matchups to be in abundance during the group stage.
