USA vs. Ukraine: Lineups and match thread

They're really going to play!

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Who's ready for some soccer, Cyprus-style, with the United States and Ukraine? Yeah, this one is weird.

This is an important friendly for the U.S. because it is the last time Jurgen Klinsmann will have his European-based players available to him before pre-World Cup training camp. That means this may be the last chance to make an impression for the players who play across the pond.

Oguchi Onyewu and John Brooks have gotten the nod at center back, both players who need to impress if they want to make their way up the depth chart and book a ticket to Brazil. The rest of the team is made up of generally known quantities, although Edgar Castillo, Sacha Kljestan and Alejandro Bedoya could do with good showings to lock down spots.

The match gets underway at 2 p.m. ET and it will be live on ESPN2.

United States: Tim Howard, Geoff Cameron, Oguchi Onyewu, John Brooks, Edgar Castillo, Jermaine Jones, Sacha Kljestan, Alejandro Bedoya, Clint Dempsey, Fabian Johnson, Jozy Altidore.
