The United States somehow came from behind to bet the Netherlands. But that was a Dutch side that has been struggling for the better part of a year. That's not to diminish the win, it just makes the jump to their next match all that bigger -- Germany.
The Americans will square off against the world champions in Cologne, making it just about as stiff of a test as there is in the world. The Germans are missing a couple of their top players, but they still have a great team with guys like Mario Götze and Mesut Özil in the squad.
Fox Sports 1 will have live coverage of the match with John Strong and Brad Friedel on the call. They will begin with a 45-minute pre-game show as well. The plan is also to have analysis of the match on Women's World Cup tonight, as it is an off day for the tournament. That is live at midnight E.T.
If you have AT&T U-Verse, you will not be able to watch the match. It is blacked out as FOX and AT&T continue their carriage dispute.
