An experimental United States side acquitted themselves very well against a reserve Portgual team and earned a 1-1 draw on Tuesday. Weston McKennie notched his first career USMNT goal just 21 minutes into his debut. If not for an horrid Ethan Horvath gaffe, the U.S. could’ve walked out with a win. However, it was a solid showing by the youngsters and a glimmer of light for what is still a long and dark tunnel towards 2022.
