The United States men’s national team concludes their 2018 with a pair of friendlies against two of the world’s most recognizable outfits. First up, it’s meeting with England at famed Wembley Stadium. This young American side will be the opposition for what is being used as a sendoff match for Wayne Rooney.
It’s not often that players get to play at such a high profile venue in their careers. You can bet everyone on the field will be looking to make a name for themselves.
For the first time in a while, the USMNT is as close to “full-strength” as we’ve seen. Christian Pulisic is finally fit enough to play, even if he’s not in the best of form. Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie too. It should be a very interesting one to watch as the Three Lions are coming off of an appearance in the World Cup semifinals and appear to be in the midst of a terrific generation of talent.
This will likely be the last two matches in charge for interim manager Dave Sarachan. Can the players send him off in style? Let’s find out. Get ready for some SOCCER.
