We haven’t seen Christian Pulisic in a United States kit since that fateful night in October. But let's not rehash that, let’s go with something positive: Dave Sarachan announced that Pulisic will be called up for next month’s USMNT friendly against Bolivia.

The match will place at Talent Energy Stadium in Philadelphia, not too far from the 19-year-old’s home in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

“I’m really excited to play in Philadelphia,” Pulisic said. “Obviously it’s close to my home and a lot of my family will be there and I’m super excited to put on the U.S. jersey again.”

Pulisic will already be stateside with his club team Borussia Dortmund as they are set to tour the United States this summer. After playing Bolivia, the USMNT heads to Europe to face Ireland on June 2nd and then France a week later in Lyon. It’s unclear if Pulisic will remain with the team for the two other friendlies.

The Bolivia match falls outside the official FIFA international window, though the two in June are inside the window. As a result, USMNT interim head coach Dave Sarachan stated rhat the roster for the Bolivia will contain more MLS players, while the two European friendlies will contain more Euro-based players.
