USMNT 25-man roster announced for Europe friendlies

Several changes to the roster.

Numerous changes were made by interim United States Men’s National Team today as the 25-man roster was released for friendlies against Ireland and France. The two friendlies will take place in Europe, with the match against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday and in Lyon against France on June 9th.

Departing the team after last night’s 3-0 victory against Bolivia include Alex Bono, Alejandro Guido, Lynden Gooch, Ethan Horvath, Matt Olosunde, Christian Pulisic and Walker Zimmerman. Still, the roster that will travel to Europe is still a young one, averaging 23.3 years of age.

The MNT roster:

DEFENDERS (9): Cameron Carter-Vickers (Tottenham Hotspur), Eric Lichaj (Nottingham Forest), Matt Miazga (Chelsea), Shaq Moore (Levante), Erik Palmer-Brown (Manchester City), Tim Parker (New York Red Bulls), Antonee Robinson (Everton), Jorge Villafana (Santos Laguna), DeAndre Yedlin (Newcastle)
