Full-time - That’s it. Ireland take it 2-1.
90’ - Ireland have grabbed a winner through Alan Judge.
57’ - Ireland are level after Bill Hamid attempt to collect a cross and fumbles it, which results in a goal for the hosts.
45’ - After a rather forgettable opening 45 minutes, Bobby Wood has put the U.S. on the board and into the lead just before the half-time whistle. A floated ball into the box was headed across goal by Matt Miazga and Bobby Wood poked in into the net for the first goal of the game.
Bobby Wood gives #USMNT the 1-0 lead vs #Ireland right before half-time, against the run of play. Wil Trapp served in the free kick, Matt Miazga won the header, and Wood poked home. #IRLvUSA #IRLUSA pic.twitter.com/3L5xpOIrEL

Pre-Match: The United States men’s national team returns to action today. After a very fun performance against Bolivia, the young and exciting USMNT head to Europe to finish off their summer slate of friendlies. A match-up with Ireland awaits and it should offer a pretty good measuring stick for this side.
Christian Pulisic and a few others have departed the squad, while Tyler Adams and Bobby Wood headline the list of additions. Dave Sarachan’s lineup decisions should be very interesting. Will he continue to give the young prospects a chance to shine or will he revert to giving players like Wood the starting nod?
The youngsters’ performance against a below average team like Bolivia has restored some hope throughout the fan base. Now it’s time to see what they can do against a legitimate threat, who is arguably around the same level as the USA at this point in time.
