The United States took down Mexico 1-0 Tuesday night in the latest episode of one of the world’s top rivalries. There were quite a few great individual performances, but as always we put it to the Stars & Stripes FC community to determine who was the best on the night.

In the end, it was close, but it was Matt Miazga who had the highest rating among the USMNT players who featured. For the second match in a row, Miazga earns the SSFC Man of the Match.

Sure, a lot of votes could have come as a result of him giving us an Oguchi Onyewu-type staredown moment. But, Miazga also delivered another terrific performance at centerback and really proved that he could be the answer in the defensive middle for the United States.

Here are all the ratings averages for the players who appeared on Tuesday night:

Zack Steffen - 7.137

Shaq Moore - 5.673

Matt Miazga - 7.626

Cameron Carter-Vickers - 6.807

Eric Lichaj - 4.603

Wil Trapp - 4.756

Kellyn Acosta - 5.166

Weston McKennie - 5.253

Tyler Adams - 7.424

Tim Weah - 6.401

Gyasi Zardes - 5.307
