The United States Men’s National Team drew Chile 1-1 Tuesday night in Houston, a match that an opponent score for the first time in the Gregg Berhalter era. A 4th minute goal by Christian Pulisic started the scoring, but a 9th minute equalizer by Oscar Opazo created the 1-1 deadlock that would stand the rest of the match.
Pulisic’s goal was the highlight of the match, and the Stars & Stripes FC community considered Pulisic’s goal and play to be leaps and bounds above the rest of the pack. Gyasi Zardes was the only other player to register a rating above 6, with his brilliant assist on Pulisic’s goal. The rest of the players were rated by the community to have an average game.
