The United States takes on Venezuela this afternoon in the final tuneup before the Gold Cup. The US is coming off a very poor performance against Jamaica with an experimental side on Wednesday. Venezuela is coming off a 3-1 defeat to Mexico. Read more about them here.
Without Christian Pulisic, Tyler Adams or Michael Bradley available, this figures to be another experimental lineup. Perhaps we get our first sight of newly-switched Tyler Boyd. It could also see the return of Jozy Altidore. Either way, hopefully there are much more positive signs from the group than what we saw on Wednesday.
