The United States Men’s National Team will open up the FIFA international window this month with a match against Jamaica on March 25th. The match will take place in Wiener Neustadt, Austria with coverage on ESPN, TUDN, and UniMás.
The match will be played without fans in the stadium under U.S. Soccer’s Return to Play Protocols and Guidelines. The location for the match, Wiener Neustadt, is the same location that the USMNT used when they played Panama back in November. The USMNT beat Panama in that match 6-2, which took place after drawing Wales 0-0 in Swansea.
The USMNT will then play Northern Ireland 3 days later in Belfast to round out this month’s international window. With a lot of teams beginning World Cup qualifying during the March window, Jamaica was available for the United States. Jamaica, currently ranked 47th in the FIFA World Rankings, is the 3rd highest ranked Concacaf team behind Mexico and the USMNT.
Since the matches occur during the FIFA window, head coach Gregg Berhalter will have his entire player pool available for selection, and it’s expected that he will call in a combination of domestic and international players for the two matches.
This month’s schedule is .
