The USMNT will be missing some of their top players due to injuries and cup finals when they head to St. Gallen next weekend to take on Switzerland. Still, Gregg Berhalter called in many of what he considers his A lineup when he announced his 27-player roster today.

Some players will join the team after the match before the team returns to the United States to play in the Nations League Finals June 3rd and 6th in Denver. Christian Pulisic and Zack Steffen, who will both be in Porto as their teams square off in the Champions League final, will join the team in St. Gallen after the Champions League final, but will not be available for Gregg Berhalter against the Swiss. The final 23-player roster for the Concacaf Nations League Finals is not due until May 24th, so Gregg Berhalter still has an opportunity to make those evaluations before he submits his final roster.

The roster for the USMNT:

GOALKEEPERS (3): Ethan Horvath (Club Brugge), Chituru Odunze (Leicester City), David Ochoa (Real Salt Lake)

DEFENDERS (10): John Brooks (Wolfsburg), Reggie Cannon (Boavista), Justin Che (Bayern Munich), Sergiño Dest (FC Barcelona), Mark McKenzie (Genk), Matt Miazga (Anderlecht), Tim Ream (Fulham), Bryan Reynolds (Roma), Antonee Robinson (Fulham FC), DeAndre Yedlin (Galatasaray)
