ESPN2 to replay USMNT vs. Algeria 2010 World Cup match

"You could not write a script like this."

The 2014 World Cup starts tomorrow with Brazil vs. Croatia. On Monday, the United States' World Cup will start against Ghana. All eyes are going to be on Brazil, but take a step back. Before you go all-in on 2014, carve out two hours in your day for 2010. Specifically, watch the U.S. beat Algeria again.

ESPN2 will show a replay of the Americans' dramatic win over the Algerians that sent them to the top of the group and knockout stages on Thursday at 6 a.m. ET. That is very early, but that is why DVR was created.

It's been 1,449 days since Tim Howard's distribution was brilliant. Since Jozy Altidore flew down field. Since Clint Dempsey had his shot saved. Since Landon Donovan came running in to knock the ball into the back of the net and save the Americans.

And even if it had been one day, not nearly 1,500, you would still want to watch it so record it and give it a watch before diving into 2014. You deserve it.
