The United States is still No. 27 in the latest FIFA World Rankings. FIFA released their January edition on Thursday and the Americans found themselves right where they were a mont earlier, in between Ecuador and the Ivory Coast.

It's not surprise that the U.S. didn't go anywhere. 146 of the 210 teams did not move in the latest rankings as few teams played matches in the last month. Bahrain made the biggest jump, going from No. 122 to No. 110.

The U.S. is still the third-ranked team in CONCACAF, behind Costa Rica and Mexico. The Ticos check in at No. 16, with El Tri ranked 20th. After the U.S., the next highest CONCACAF team is Panama at 55.

There should be movement for the U.S. in the February rankings. They have friendlies scheduled against Chile and Panama, which will change the formula and get them moving, preferably up after a couple wins.

Germany are still the No. 1 ranked team in the world. Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Brazil, Portugal, France, Spain and Uruguay round out the top 10.
