Altidore, Nagbe, Wood did cool things today

Some highlights

A rather pedestrian day on the USMNT club front today. Christian Pulisic got the start in Der Klassiker, but was not involved much in the Bayern Munich domination. Some Americans did put on some good performances. Bobby Wood provided a game-winning assist in Hamburg’s impressive 2-1 win over Hoffenheim (0:38) of the clip:

Darlington Nagbe scored his first league goal of the season in the Portland Timbers’ 3-1 win over and it was a pretty good one:

Finally, Jozy Altidore recorded a brilliant assist in Toronto FC’s 2-2 draw with Atlanta United. A lovely little back heel flick for Giovinco to finish. Great stuff from the big man:

I’m going to bed now. If anything cool happens on the west coast, don’t get mad at me.
