Welcome back to the USMNT Depth Chart Poll. We’re taking a poll to find out who everyone believes are the top three players at each position. We want to know who you would take, here and now (assuming everyone is magically healthy), if there was an important game for the United States to win. This isn’t about who we think will be our best in 2022. The chart will undoubtedly change dramatically in those four years as players rise and fall. We’re interested to see where we are now and it’ll be fun to revisit this in the future to see what’s changed.
We started with the goalkeepers, with Zack Steffen leading the way, and now we’re looking at the right back position.
Note: please vote for a number one, two and three at each position. The votes will be weighted to attempt to reflect as best we can the preferences at each position. Also, we only picked players that have featured for their first team within the last year or are believed to be close to playing for their first first team. I tried to be as thorough as reasonably possible, but if there is a name that doesn’t appear, please write it in the comments section with the order and the number of “recs” it receives will suffice as votes.
