Community Corner: Predict the next decade

We got 10 more years until the end of the decade...what’s going to happen?

Merry New Year! We have arrived in the year 2020, and while we may not have flying cars, we have each other. Today marks the beginning of a new decade, one that 10 years from now will be full of memories in the world of the United States Men’s and Women’s National Teams.

What this new decade will bring us is anyone’s guess, but today on the Community Corner, we invite you to be U.S. Soccer’s Nostradamus. What will the 2020s bring for the USMNT and USWNT? We have 2 World Cups for the men (including 2026, which will be hosted here, in Mexico, and in Canada) and we have 2 World Cups for the women (of which 2027 could be here in the United States). The 2028 Olympics will be in Los Angeles as well, meaning that we could have 3 chances for both the men and the women to win gold medals.
