Do you have thoughts on the United States national team? Is there a player that you think needs highlighting or a quirky thing about our formation that you think needs some deep analysis? Is there something about the U.S. Soccer Federation that you think needs fixing and have you figured out the way to bring improvement to that area? We want you to be active in expressing your voice in the Fanposts section.
Back in 2018, Stars & Stripes FC began a Fanpost of the Week series, where the series was powered by you. It’s time to revive that series in 2021, so that’s what we’re going to do! Every week, we will pick a great Fanpost and run it on the main site every weekend.
If you haven’t written a Fanpost for SSFC and want to start, it’s easy! First, you must have a SBN username and join the SSFC community. If you haven’t done that already, try to comment on a post and it will give you the option of joining the Stars & Stripes FC community. You will have a 24-hour waiting period before you will be eligible to post if you are joining for the first time.
To post, head to the Fanposts section and on the left, you will see a button to create a new Fanpost:

Whatever your topic is, try to make it at least 150 words, and submit it. If we like it, we will bump it up to the main page every weekend for people to read!
If you’re looking to write more on the game of soccer, this is a great way to get your name and your work out there. Plus, great Fanposts have always been turned into great articles, and great Fanposters have become regular contributors on not just this site, but several others on SB Nation. I can tell you from personal experience that it can be done, as can several people on our staff!
We can’t wait to see what you guys contribute on a weekly basis, and we look forward to amplifying more of your voices!
