The United States Men’s National Team will begin a busy 2021 with their annual January Camp, set to begin January 9th. The camp will take place in Bradenton, Florida and will last through the end of the month.

As they have done in previous years, the U-23s will also join them in a camp. The two teams will train together until January 24th, when several U-23 players will be elevated to the USMNT roster in advance of a planned match. The U-23s have a big year as well, with Olympic qualifying set to take place in March with the hopes of qualifying for this summer’s Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter has called in 12 players to the USMNT, with other players joining the full roster later in the month. The USMNT roster:

The U-23s are calling in a full roster, with head coach Jason Kreis naming 26 players to the camp roster. Players born after January 1, 1997 are eligible for the Olympic qualifying championship tournament, which was rescheduled from March 2020 to this coming March due to the coronavirus outbreak that forced a shutdown of most major sports competitions.
