Pulisic: I was never really thinking about Liverpool

Christian Pulisic was the target of several bids this summer, but he says he’s fully committed to the club that gave him his big break.

Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool are two clubs that have been linked together in several transfer rumors and negotiations. This is because of Jurgen Klopp, the former Dortmund manager is now at the helm of Anfield and is desperately trying to get a few of his favorites back by his side.

Pulisic is one of the sought after targets as shown by the €13 million bid the Premier League club submitted this summer. Dortmund rejected the bid and Pulisic claims that Liverpool were never really on his mind.

"I have respect for Klopp and I know him -- he was very welcoming to me here -- but I was never really thinking about going to Liverpool," Pulisic told FourFourTwo.

"Dortmund have given me everything. If I work very hard here I will play and I love this club."

The 18-year-old has played well this season in a constantly changing role for the club. Despite being a highly-touted prospect in the world of soccer, it appears he’s committed to Dortmund for the foreseeable future.
