A little transfer saga brewing?

According to reports out of the UK, Rangers will face stiff competition to hang on to Emerson Hyndman this summer and that will come in the form of their most bitter rivals.

Celtic have reportedly contacted the young American’s parent club Bournemouth to inquire about his availability this summer. Hyndman is on-loan with Rangers and will return to the Premier League club once the current season concludes. Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be very interesting in bringing the 20-year-old to Celtic Park after seeing him impress in his time at the Ibrox.

Hyndman currently has 3 12 years left on the contract he signed with Bournemouth this past summer as a free agent. He’s scored four goals in just nine Scottish Premiership matches so far this season. It’s unknown if Bournemouth would be willing to let him leave on a permanent basis, but with the way he’s played on loan, there will certainly be suitors for him.
