Whenever soccer starts back up and the European transfer window opens, DeAndre Yedlin and Reggie Cannon could be two players making moves. According to a tweet by Roger Gonzalez of CBS, the two American right backs could be the subject of interest from teams in the Bundesliga.
#USMNT transfers news...

Am hearing that both USA defenders DeAndre Yedlin and Reggie Cannon are targets for Bundesliga clubs with a move after this season possible for both.
The 26-year-old Yedlin has been at Newcastle since 2016, one of the few United States internationals remaining in the Premier League. A move from England to Germany would be interesting, as he is about to enter the prime of his career. Cannon, 21, has been a featured right back at FC Dallas for the past 3 seasons, and he has been rumored to want a move overseas. With so many Americans finding success in a move to the Bundesliga, Cannon getting interest from teams there would be terrific news for a young player who is looking to test himself against excellent competition.
It’s unclear which Bundesliga teams are interested in the two American right backs, but there are currently Americans playing regular minutes for Wolfsburg, RB Leipzig, Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Werder Bremen. There are also Americans playing minutes for youth teams at Bayern Munich, Union Berlin, Augsburg, Freiburg, Nurnberg, Hoffenheim, and Köln. Adding Yedlin or Cannon to a team in the Bundesliga will only increase the profile of both as more eyeballs focus on the Americans having success in the league.
With the coronavirus hiatus soon coming to an end for the Bundesliga, it won’t be long before we see if any teams emerge as suitors for DeAndre Yedlin and Reggie Cannon. Hit the comments to discuss which team you think poses the best situation for both players.
