The third and final round of Group B matches at the 2017 U-20 CONCACAF Championship will be played today as two spots in the Classification Stage are up for grabs. The United States began the tournament on a rotten note, losing 1-0 to a Panama team who had to play with 10 players for a large portion of the match. They rebounded nicely with a solid 4-1 victory over Haiti and should have no problem against today’s opponent, St. Kitts & Nevis, who have lost to Panama and Haiti by a combined score of 9-1.
Here’s how Group B looks heading into the final round of matches:

Here are all of the advancement scenarios for the USA courtesy of ussoccer.com.
USA Advancement Scenarios:
If Panama beats Haiti: the U.S. would advance with a win or a tie.
If Panama beats Haiti and the U.S. loses to St. Kitts and Nevis: the U.S. would sit in a three-way tie for second place with Haiti and St. Kitts and Nevis, based on total group points (three). The greater goal difference in matches between the three (tied) teams would serve as the tie breaker.
If Panama and Haiti tie: the U.S. would advance with a win or a tie.
If Haiti beats Panama: the U.S. would need a win vs. St. Kitts and Nevis to take part in a three-way tie for first place with Haiti and Panama. The greater goal difference in matches between the three teams would again serve as the tie breaker.
While anything with U.S. Soccer is never a sure thing, if Tab Ramos’ side shows up and plays up to their ability, beating St. Kitts & Nevis should be a forgone conclusion. Assuming they take care of business and finish in second place of Group B, they would advance to the Classification stage and face Mexico and El Salvador. If after those two matches they finish in first or second in the stage they’ll earn a ticket to this summer’s World Cup in South Korea.
USA Lineup:
U.S. U-20 starting XI: Marcinkowski, EPB, Redding, Glad, Acosta, Herrera, Williamson, Saucedo, Lewis, Ebobisse, Lennon
